Josh is a Provisional Psychologist, currently in the final stages of a Master of Clinical Psychology. Prior to starting at Redlands Psychologists, he has worked within medical clinics, hospital settings, as well as providing telephone crisis support. He has enjoyed working with a range of different psychological issues and connecting with a diversity of clientele. Josh has helped support individuals experiencing difficulties with depression, grief, stress and anxiety, interpersonal relationships, and trauma and PTSD—among other psychological issues.
He works from an integrative approach, drawing upon various evidence-based therapeutic techniques to attend to client’s unique difficulties. This may include, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT). In his practice, Josh believes in the importance of building strong therapeutic relationships to ensure client’s feel supported, comfortable, and encouraged to achieve their therapeutic goals.
