Alistair Stronach

Clinical Psychologist

Alistair initially trained and worked as a psychologist in New Zealand, and is a warm, empathetic and caring clinician, who works collaboratively with his clients to help them to achieve their goals in therapy.

With training and postgraduate qualifications encompassing Sport, Organisational and Clinical psychology, Alistair works with people from diverse backgrounds, from early adulthood to the elderly.

Alistair assists people to address challenges such as anxiety, depression, poor self-esteem, low self-confidence, workplace conflict, phobias, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), adjustment to life changes, navigating relationship difficulties, addiction, life-threatening illnesses, and end of life issues.

Alistair works primarily from a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy framework; however, he also provides Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Schema Therapy approaches.
